Getting Around
The easiest way to reach the sights around Buriram is by car or rental. Many attractions are outside the city. Ask our reception about car hire or arranging a local driver.
Local Food
Buriram is in the Isan (northeastern) region — try som tam (papaya salad), grilled chicken, sticky rice and laab. Evening markets are the best spot for authentic local food.
Best Time to Visit
The coolest, most comfortable months are November to February. Midday can be hot, so visit temples and outdoor sites in the morning.
